I had this idea back in 2017 and originally had the lyrics to houseplant over the verse - it sounded so bad I never finished it until last year. The music lives in my head but I never intended to be the dude singing, so it's a constant war to write words to the melodies - without hating them. When I look back over these demos, largely the reason they sat unfinished until now was most likely because I didn't want to sing over them.
